This cushion cover most directly resembles the Scottish wildcat itself, with two parallel slits of vibrant green cutting through deep black. A striking combination, it’s perfect for those who like to make a statement! The cushion underside continues the deep colour of the front in solid black.
Inspiration
The Scottish Wildcat is the only native species of the cat family still found in the UK. Typically reclusive and solitary creatures, Scottish wildcats live on the edges of woodlands, moors and mountains and are known as the 'Tiger of the Highlands'. Unfortunately, the wildcat is Scotland's most threatened mammal, and there are only a few hundred left in the wild, due to habitat fragmentation, disease and genetic extinction from mating with domestic cats.
10% of all lum profits are donated to the Scottish Wildlife Trust and their dedicated work to conserve and protect the wildlife and natural environment of Scotland. They are one of a number of key partners in efforts to improve important habitats and grow Scottish Wildcat populations: saving this species from extinction and ensuring their protection for generations to come!
